Drew Brees was back at Purdue Saturday as the Boilermakers took on Nebraska, and before the game he got the team fired up with an incredible speech.
Brees started out cool, calm and collected as he addressed the team in the locker room before the game. Then, he built up to a crescendo calling out individual skill groups, and called out each and every player to look for the defining moment of the game and play for each other.
If that doesn’t have you ready to run through a brick wall, then you may need to have your heart checked.
Brees is a legend. He was one of the all-time greats at Purdue during his collegiate career, and now he’s one of the NFL’s all-time greats. It’s not surprising that, after listening to Brees’ words, the Boilermakers have been taking it to Nebraska during Saturday’s game and have a chance to win.
