Golden State Warriors stars Demarcus Cousins and Stephen Curry combined for a strong “Shaqtin’ a Fool” play on Wednesday night.
Cousins was driving the lane. Rather than shoot, he kicked it out to the perimeter to Curry, who was standing wide open. The problem? Curry was not actually in the game.
Interesting concept by Boogie. Unfortunately, passing it to a teammate on the bench is a turnover #DubNation (h/t @957thegame). pic.twitter.com/NXKAUC3iqu

While the turnover is charged to Cousins, we actually fault Curry for this one.
When your team is attacking at the same end as your bench, it’s probably best to stay seated. At the very least, be in your warmup sweats. When you see a teammate standing wide open, it’s only natural to kick it out.
