Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean MvCay knows full well how to create mismatches on offense.
Just ask Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr, who was lined up one-on-one against speedy Rams receiver Cooper Kupp in the first half of Thursday’s game between the two teams.
We don’t have to be geniuses to realize what happened. Kupp went vertical, beating Barr on a 70-yard touchdown pass from Jared Goff to help the Rams take a 14-10 first half lead.

That’s some insane execution from the Rams, both pre-snap and during the play. As it relates to the Vikings, we’re not entirely too sure what the plan was here.
Kupp, a second-year pro from Eastern Washington, entered Thursday’s action with 15 receptions for 186 yards and two scores in three games. The Vikes might want to put a corner on him next time.
