WATCH: Colorado pulls off incredible 96-yard flea-flicker touchdown

It takes a lot of guts to call a flea-flicker from your own end zone, but that’s exactly what Jay Johnson dialed up for Colorado on Saturday against Nebraska.

Down by 10 points, backed up at their own 4-yard line, the Buffaloes went for a home run and connected. Quarterback Steven Montez handed off, then received the flea-flicker pitch with pressure coming. He unleashed a perfect pass, which was hauled in by K.D. Nixon, who romped 96 yards for the touchdown.

Just an incredible play that deserves plenty of praise, both for the aggressiveness it took, and for executing it perfectly.

Unfortunately for the Buffaloes, Nebraska answered right away with a 75-yard touchdown on its next offensive play.
