WATCH: Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence shows NFL arm with beautiful TD pass

Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence during game against The Citadel

It’s by now pretty much a foregone conclusion that Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence will be the first overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Lawrence made it official ahead of the Tigers’ season opener last week that he will declare for the draft following this season.

Outside of injuries or something else unforseen, some lucky NFL team is going to get a generational quarterback next spring. While it was against lesser competition in that of The Citadel on Saturday, Lawrence showed us just how talented he is.

Check out this absurd strike on a 44-yard touchdown pass to talented senior wide receiver Amari Rodgers.

You just can’t teach that type of arm talent. Lawrence’s ability to catch Rodgers in stride adds to the arm talent that has scouts drooling heading into the 2021 NFL Draft.

At this point, it’s not even remotely known who might boast the top pick in the draft. Regardless, the annual event is absolutely loaded at quarterback. Lawrence obviously sits atop the list.
