After watching fellow receiver Charleston Rambo explode for a a 74-yard play, Oklahoma Sooners receiver CeeDee Lamb decided it was his turn to get in on the playmaking with a 71-yard score.
Oklahoma took the field on first down to open the drive and immediately went big. Jalen Hurts hit Lamb right in the heart of midfield. Lamb turned a defender around then turned the rest of Texas Tech’s secondary into glass for the monster touchdown.
While Lamb hasn’t racked up massive receiving yards this season, a result of this deep receiving corps, Saturday’s 71-yard score marks his fourth consecutive game with a receiving touchdown.
Oklahoma is utterly dominating opposing defenses this season. The moment Texas Tech turned more defensive attention to Rambo, Lamb burned them on the very next drive. It’s going to be a rough Saturday for the Red Raiders, which is the standard for Oklahoma’s opponents.
