Andy Dalton and Buffalo Bills fans have a pretty special relationship, and on Sunday the fans let Dalton know just how much they appreciate him.
When Dalton ran out onto the field, he received a thunderous standing ovation at New Era Field.

Dalton’s touchdown pass against Baltimore last year was the catalyst for Buffalo making the playoffs for the first time in nearly two decades.
Afterward, Bills fans flooded Dalton’s charity with donations, in the end doubling the foundation’s funds by pouring in over $400,000.
As a way to pay it forward, Dalton himself announced that him and his wife, JJ, were donating funds to the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo. Additionally, Dalton and his wife JJ flew in the first Bills fan to donate, Kevin Forest, all the way from Nebraska to participate in this.
It’s pretty rare to see fans shower an opposing player with praise like this. But in this case, it’s clearly warranted.
