WATCH: Colts go Benny Hill with pick-six on opening drive against the Jets

Andrew Luck

Andrew Luck attempted what looked like a safe screen pass to Marlon Mack early in Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. But as the Indianapolis Colts soon learned, it was anything but.

Mack badly mishandled the pass. But rather than simply dropping the pass to the ground, he knocked it straight up in the air. Morris Claiborne was there to haul it in for the pick and cruised 17-yards for the pick-six.

The only thing missing here is the theme song for “Benny Hill.”

The Colts did respond well with a touchdown on the ensuing possession. Still, this one couldn’t have started much worse.
