Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry has been ruled out of Tuesday night’s NBA in-season tournament game against the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves due to right knee soreness.

Curry, 35, injured his knee after taking a hard fall in the second half of Golden State’s 116-110 loss to Minnesota on Sunday. The two-time NBA MVP continued to play in the game and finished with 38 points in 36 minutes.

Curry is averaging 30.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 11 games this season while shooting 48.8 percent from the floor and 44.6 percent from 3-point range.

With Curry sidelined, the Warriors likely will turn to veteran Chris Paul and fellow guard Klay Thompson on Tuesday in San Francisco.
