Warriors C Zaza Pachulia out for Game 3 against the Spurs

Spurs fan lawsuit, Zaza Pachulia

Despite taking part in practice over the past couple games, Golden State Warriors center Zaza Pachulia will not be on the court when his team attempts to take a 3-0 series lead against the San Antonio Spurs Saturday night.

Pachulia suffered a right heel contusion in the first half of Game 2 on Tuesday and did not return to the action. This came one game after he made headlines for a questionable close out on Kawhi Leonard that led to the Spurs’ MVP candidate suffering an ankle injury.

The veteran center has been solid in his first year with Golden State. He averaged 6.1 points and 5.9 rebounds while starting all 70 games he appeared in during the regular season.
