A Dallas-area native, Denver Broncos Pro Bowler Von Miller will take on his hometown Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Despite being in the midst of his seventh NFL season, this is the first time Miller will play the Cowboys.
And he seems pretty jacked up about it. More than that, the former NFL Defensive Player of the Year has a pretty interesting take about growing up in Dallas, one that many Texans probably agree with.
Dallas-area native Von Miller was asked why Cowboys are "America's Team": "When you're raised in Dallas, you think Texas is America."

Playing high school ball in Texas will likely lead you to this conclusion. Graduating to playing at College Station for the Aggies magnifies that even further.
It also shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that Miller indicated prior to being selected No 2 overall by the Broncos in the 2011 NFL Draft that he wanted to play for the Cowboys.
Unfortunately for Dallas, he’ll be on the other side of the line when the two meet in Denver on Sunday. We can rest assure that Miller will want to put on a show for all those people watching from the center of the universe, Texas.
