USC’s blind long snapper Jake Olson wins major CFB award

The story of Jake Olson is so inspirational. Born with cancer of the retina, he’s done things as a blind man that many fully healthy people could never dream of.

On Tuesday, it was announced that Olson is this year’s recipient of the Walter Camp Football Foundation “Award of Perseverance,” which could not possibly be more fitting.

This young man is completely fearless, and his desire to pursue his dreams without limits is an example to us all.
