During the first quarter of Sunday’s game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts, Bengals defensive back Shawn Williams went head hunting and hit Andrew Luck late.
He led with his helmet while Luck was on the ground already and was ejected for his dirty hit.
Bengals S Shawn Williams draws the first helmet rule ejection for a hit on Andrew Luck. And I'm not sure anyone should argue that one. Easy call.

Williams absolutely deserved to be ejected for this egregiously foul hit.
There were some pretty strong reactions from folks watching at home.
Glad it is Shawn Williams leaving the field with an ejection ruling than Andrew Luck leaving on a stretcher. EEK! That was a scary looking head to head collision. pic.twitter.com/gRezJdGOc5

Guys, I’m a Bengals fan but Shawn Williams deserved to be ejected. Shocked Luck isn’t concussed.
