The impressive 19-year-old Juan Soto was called up by the Washington Nationals last month and made his debut (with a home run, no less) on May 20th.
On Monday, the Nationals played a suspended game against the New York Yankees that technically was played on May 15. In the sixth inning, Soto blasted a two-run homer that put the Nationals up 5-3 over the Bronx Bombers.
Juan Soto just hit a two-run, go-ahead homer to give the #Nats a 5-3 lead in the 6th inning of a game that officially will have taken place on May 15 … even though he made his official MLB debut on May 20.
