The Washington Wizards continue to amaze us with their inability to play even remotely up to the level of their talent. The first quarter of Washington’s Game 2 outing against the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday was no different.
Giving up a ridiculous seven three-pointers on 13 attempts, Washington found itself down 44-27 after the first quarter. It was a disgusting display of ineptitude that will likely lead to another rant from head coach Scott Brooks here soon.
In any event, Twitter itself was not kind to the Wizards’ early-game struggles. Here are the best reactions from that normally hilarious social media site.

Wizards are getting cooked. They’re playing the Scott/Morris frontcourt, which was laughable defensively all season, and now have Lawson at point. Scott Brooks has no idea what he’s doing.

Raptors going for the rare two-game sweep of Wizards.

It might have been a good idea for the Wizards to beat the Magic on the last night of the regular season.

That magical "switch" that everyone hoped would flip in the postseason isn't. The Wizards are just bad right now. Bad roster construction, bad coaching, and bad player attitudes. There's no sugarcoating it, though I'm sure Ted and Ernie will try their best to.
