Tom Brady says he’s spoken with the Patriots’ brass

Tom Brady, Patriots, Buccaneers

A lot has been made on Super Bowl Sunday about the future of six-time champion Tom Brady.

A report earlier on Sunday indicated that the Patriots were willing to offer the impending free agent $30 million annually. Later in the day, another report suggested that the Las Vegas Raiders will chase after Brady in free agency.

Brady is now opening up about the process. The 42-year-old quarterback says he’s spoken to the Patriots’ brass, but would not divulge much more information.

It remains to be seen if Brady will in fact return to the Patriots after losing in the AFC Wildcard round this season. What we do know is that he’s keeping his options open and will likely take free-agent meetings.

Though, Brady’s comments coupled with a report of a lucrative offer from New England seems to suggest a return is likely.
