It’s been a turbulent month for Cleveland’s manager, who’s dealt with multiple health scares.
Francona left Monday’s game early because he wasn’t feeling well, and he missed Tuesday’s game with the same ailment. He was also hospitalized earlier in June after a game.
The Indians have been 1-1 in Francona’s absence over the last two games. They defeated the Texas Rangers 15-9 on Monday, but dropped a 2-1 game to Texas on Tuesday.
