Legendary NFL receiver Terrell Owens recently hinted at a potential return to the league, and reactions were skeptical at best. As it turns out, T.O. will soon be on a TV near you — if you have a gaming console.
Owens posted a video announcing he has “signed” with EA Sports for the Madden 19 Hall of Fame edition.

Owens has repeatedly said he’s still capable of playing football, even saying prior to the 2017 regular season that “it’s a joke” he’s not in the NFL. As many anticipated, though, the original hint was much ado about nothing.
Still, while there’s no dramatic return to the field planned, T.O. will be a headliner on one of the NFL’s brightest stages this year.
The second-most prolific receiver in league history, Owens will be inducted into the Hall of Fame as a member of the 2018 class.
