The Stars of Super Bowl XLIX When They Were Young

Memories last a lifetime, but sometimes it’s nice to have the photo evidence of the good old days. I found some of those for your viewing pleasure.

The following are photos from players who participated in Super Bowl XLIX between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks.

Richard Sherman, Cornerback, Seattle Seahawks

An athlete from the beginning, Sherman shows that even though you grow up, you never lose your abilities. I wonder what his first words were.

Julian Edelman, Wide Receiver, New England Patriots

While Edelman isn’t a baby in this photo, he might as well be. Without the massive beard and woman from Tinder in his bed, he looks like an infant. The clean-cut Edelman was a quarterback for Kent State.

Someone hasn’t aged one bit. What is your secret, Russ?

This guy grew up to be a Super Bowl Champion (four times) and married a super model. And while this is obviously photo-shopped, the grin on Brady’s face is classic.

Marshawn Lynch, Running Back, Seattle Seahawks

Rob Gronkowski, Tight End, New England Patriots

Why is it that Rob Gronkowski has always looked like he was up to no good? I have a feeling he farted in this picture and blamed it on one of his brothers.

It’s hard to recognize him without the hoodie.

This makes you wonder when the gum-chewing habit came into play. Now the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks, Pete Carroll once sported shorts shorter than the cheerleaders.
