The Rams’ relocation back to Los Angeles has brought out the lovers and haters of the franchise.
Holding a major grudge against the former St. Louis franchise is Hotshots Sports Bar and Grill.
This establishment is so disgruntled about the Rams departure that it is actually offering discounts on pitchers of beer when a team scores against the Rams. Furthermore, customers are encouraged to root for any team but the Rams.
This is a statement Hotshots released via their own blog.
“Join us every Sunday and hate watch the Rams with us all season long. Their losses are YOUR gains as we will offer Hotshots customers $1 Off all domestic pitchers for every TD against the Rams, every week! The more they give up (which will be a lot), the more you can win while we root on literally ANYONE else. We have not forgotten what Stan and his cronies did to our city so we will have your shot to take a few jabs at them each week as well. Come root on the Rams to lose like only they can at Hotshots and get cheap beer! It’s a win-win!”
As we can see, Hotshots means business. They also apparently have all the faith in Jeff Fisher coaching his Rams down the drain this season.
The Rams have not earned a spot in the playoff since 2004. In fact, the team has not won more than eight games in a single season since.
Undoubtedly, Hotshots will be booming with haters all season long while the beer flows cheap. Sadly for the Rams, this is a fabulous promotion for Hotshots as well as a well-aimed cheap shot directed at the franchise.
