New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton doesn’t want his team to follow the lead of the Washington football team, Houston Texans, St. Louis Rams or Dallas Cowboys.
Payton’s crew is preparing for a joint practice with the New England Patriots, and according to NFL Media’s Jeff Darlington, the Saints will have a clear consequence for fighting.
Source says Sean Payton had a simple message to his players last night about fighting with Patriots: If you decide to fight, pack your bags.

It’s a refreshing statement from Payton, because the training camp fights are getting old. Sure, the mini-brawls are exciting for attendees to watch, but they accomplish nothing except for a well-watched Vine.
Although emotions reach a new level when players enter a field against someone other than teammates, there’s no reason these fights should keep happening.
Per Darlington, Patriots coach Bill Belichick also commended New Orleans’ history of avoiding fights in practice.
“We’ve had a great working relationship with Saints. Players work hard — but they do it right way.”
Payton and Belichick deserve a golf clap for attempting to stop any useless scuffle before it starts.
