Sam Bradford on Eagles’ woes: ‘We’re all frustrated’

The 0-2 Philadelphia Eagles have been a terrible mess so far this season.

Not only are fans exasperated, but members of the team are also beyond frustrated with their current level of performance.

Running back DeMarco Murray, whose 0.5 average yards per carry could leave him to get dusted by a snail, has expressed frustration. And, not only is Murray stressed out, quarterback Sam Bradford spoke for the team acknowledging Murray’s feelings and stating this:

“We’re all frustrated.”

The Eagles so far have lost to the Atlanta Falcons and then again to their NFC east rival Dallas Cowboys. It was that game in particular that Murray outwardly showed how unhappy he was about Bradford’s performance.

Murray dished Bradford stare of death after the quarterback committed yet another turnover in the game. If looks could kill.

Even though Bradford’s blunders seemed endless last week, it’s not like Murray remains blameless. Lasts season’s record-breaking lead rusher has only totaled 11 rushing yards on 21 attempts. Fortunately, he has piled up 64 receiving yards scored two touchdowns. However, this is nothing compared to the 285 rushing yards Murray registered in his first two weeks in 2014 when he played for Dallas.

Bradford and the Eagles must turn things around, especially on offense. Unfortunately, this task doesn’t look to be any easier facing the New York Jets on the road in Week 3. We certainly all witnessed the Jets totally dismantle Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts last Monday.

So far in the past two weeks, the Jets have only allowed 17 points total to be scored against them. With the way things are going, Week 3 could easily be the scene of more frustrated faces on the visitor’s side of MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
