The first leg of the New England Revolution’s Round of 16 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League match against AS Cavaly was postponed due to visa issues for the Haitian side.

Concacaf officials said in a press release Sunday that they had granted AS Cavaly’s request for a postponement. Originally scheduled for Tuesday, the match will now take place Friday at 5:30 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.

The second leg is set for Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. ET at the same venue. Both matches are being played in Foxborough due to safety and security concerns in Haiti.

A total of 16 clubs are competing in the SCCL event. The Round of 16 concludes on Feb. 23, followed by home and away quarterfinal matches in March. The winner, to be crowned during the first week of May, will represent the region at the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup.
