Minnesota Vikings left tackle Christian Darrisaw will miss his third straight game on Sunday at Detroit, multiple outlets reported.

Darrisaw, who had been listed as questionable, has cleared the concussion protocol but the team opted to give him another week to recover.

Blake Brandel will make his third consecutive start at left tackle when the Vikings (10-2) visit the Lions (5-7).

Darrisaw, 23, left Minnesota’s Week 11 loss to Dallas after a helmet-to-helmet collision with Cowboys defensive end Dorance Armstrong.

A first-round pick in 2021, Darrisaw entered Week 11 as the NFL’s highest-graded offensive lineman, according to Pro Football Focus.
