The Minnesota Vikings are keeping six-time Pro Bowl safety Harrison Smith on a restructured deal, multiple outlets reported Thursday.

Smith, 34, the longest-tenured Viking, will return for his 12th season in Minnesota.

Smith will now make $8 million in 2023, with another $2 million attainable through incentives, per the reports. He was slated to count $19.1 million against the cap in 2023.

Smith signed a four-year, $64 million extension ahead of the 2021 season.

Smith tied his career high with five interceptions in 14 starts in 2022.

He has 34 career INTs in 159 career games (158 starts) since the Vikes selected him No. 29 overall in the 2012 draft.

He made All-Pro in 2017.
