The Chicago White Sox will be without Wellington Castillo for 80 games. It was reported on Wednesday that the catcher has been suspended for a positive PED test. An official announcement will be made on Thursday.

Castillo is hitting .270/.314/.477 with six home runs on the season for Chicago.
The suspension also keeps Castillo from participating in this season’s playoffs. While that’s not likely to be an issue for the White Sox, that will certainly have a negative impact on Castillo’s potential trade value as the trade deadline approaches.
