Report: Tom Brady will ‘seriously explore all options’ in free agency

Tom Brady remains in the New England Patriots’ plans for next season, but the future Hall of Fame quarterback might have some other ideas on his mind. Brady is reportedly expected to fully explore all of his options when NFL free agency begins as speculation intensifies that he could head elsewhere, per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

The Patriots were expected to meet with Brady’s agent this past week at the NFL Scouting Combine. Instead, there seems to be increasing belief that Brady might leave the only organization he’s ever known. A return to New England once seemed like a certainty, but now more and more within the NFL think Brady could sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Los Angeles Chargers or Tennessee Titans, per Fowler.

While some still find it hard to believe that Bill Belichick would allow Brady to leave in free agency after winning six Super Bowl rings together, the chances of a return seem to be deteriorating.

In fact, the Patriots have already explored multiple scenarios to acquire a veteran quarterback if Brady leaves.

After 20 years with the Patriots, it’s clear that Brady is more than willing to make a change. If that happens, even entering his age-43 season, the move would send shockwaves through the NFL.
