Free agent NFL quarterback Tarvaris Jackson was reportedly arrested Friday for allegedly pulling a gun on his wife, per Chris Hush of WESH News, an NBC affiliate, in Central Florida.

Hush also provided a copy of the arrest report, which paints a dark picture. He allegedly said “I’ll kill you” to his wife as he was intoxicated and pointing a loaded weapon at her, while their children slept in the next room. Even more harrowing, it took someone else to stop him from pulling the trigger, per the police report, as the witness grabbed him before he could do it.

Jackson played for the Seattle Seahawks last season as a backup to Russell Wilson but was not picked back up after the franchise picked up rookie Trevone Boykin as an undrafted free agent.
