The Carolina Panthers have made a move to bolster their secondary, reportedly coming to a deal that will bring former Washington Redskins cornerback Bashaud Breeland on board.

Breeland has been a very solid player for Washington the past four years since being selected in the fourth round out of Clemson in 2014. Since that time, he’s racked up eight interceptions, 59 pass break-ups and one defensive touchdowns.
Though he can be a bit inconsistent at times, Breeland is one of the players we highlighted for being one of the best bargains in free agency this year. Depending on what kind of contract he lands, that may very well be the case.
