It didn’t take former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns long to draw interest in free agency after the team released him Tuesday morning.

According to Hurns himself, there are 10 teams interested in his services. That includes the receiver-needy Carolina Panthers and Cam Newton.

It’s not a surprise that nearly one-third of the league might be interested in Hurns’ services. Sure he struggled to the tune of 961 yards and five touchdowns over the past two seasons. With that said, Hurns is just 26 years old and put up 1,031 yards to go with 10 touchdowns back in 2015.

Based on the interest and deals the likes of Ryan Grant and Donte Moncrief received in free agency, Hurns himself could be looking at a multi-year contract.

Carolina is the one team mentioned as a possibility. Though, it would not be a surprise if teams such as the Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Cleveland Browns and Oakland Raiders also showed interest in the talented young receiver.
