Trade discussions had recently been brewing about the Kansas City Chiefs wanting to trade cornerback Marcus Peters. Now, that this trade is actually in the process of happening — sending Peters to the Los Angeles Rams — everyone is reacting.
This would include some of Peters’ soon-to-be former teammates who reportedly aren’t happy about the impending trade.
Already hearing some rumblings about some current Chiefs being upset about this potential Marcus Peters trade. Compensation will be interesting

This is understandable. Peters is one of the best corners in the league and his departure will be a gut punch to a Chiefs secondary that gave up a lot of yards last season.
This blockbuster trade is also the second one the Chiefs’ brass recently orchestrated. Kansas City did not even let the dust settle at the Pro Bowl before it shipped quarterback Alex Smith to Washington.
All of this is sure to have the current Chiefs players on edge and feeling a bit miffed.
When it comes to Peters, the Chiefs are reportedly receiving a package of draft picks as compensation. How that plays out moving forward will determine just how unhappy current members of the Chiefs will be.
