This is a great get for Indy, which adds some serious beef in the middle of its defense.
Hankins, originally a second-round pick out of Ohio State by the New York Giants, developed into quite a nice run-stuffing defensive tackle during his four years in the Big Apple. During that time, he racked up 140 total tackles, 10 sacks and three forced fumbles.
He’ll be an immediate impact player for the Colts, who certainly needed the help inside.
