Nearly everything about the Los Angeles Chargers in 2017 will be different than it was for the San Diego Chargers in 2016. But the actual look of the team won’t change. According to a report, the team will not consider a uniform change for the next two seasons.

“No immediate changes will be made to the Chargers’ game-day attire, a team official said this week,” Michael Gehlken of The San Diego Union-Tribune said. “During the next two seasons, the same uniforms donned in San Diego will be worn at the StubHub Center in Carson. There appears chance of a uniform change thereafter; the source did not rule out the possibility, characterizing the decision as having yet to be finalized.”

The uniforms will be about the only thing recognizable thing regarding the Chargers.

Anthony Lynn is replacing Mike McCoy as the team’s head coach. In the span of less than a week, a new logo was revealed, mocked and retired.

Of course, that all pales in comparison to the biggest change made by the team — moving from San Diego to Los Angeles. It’s nice to know that in an ever-changing world, some things remain in place.
