The Cleveland Cavaliers are a sinking ship, having started the season with an 0-6 record, and not surprisingly, head coach Tyronn Lue has reportedly been fired.
Shams Charania of The Athletic reported Sunday morning that the Cavaliers were planning to fire him after four-plus seasons.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports the deed has been done, and that Larry Drew will be the interim head coach.

It wouldn’t be hard to argue that any success Lue attained while the head coach in Cleveland was a direct result of being fortunate enough to have LeBron James on his team. With James, Lue won an NBA title and took the Cavaliers to three straight NBA Finals.
However, now that James is in Los Angeles, it’s clear the Cavaliers are one of the most hapless teams in the Association. Personnel decisions undoubtedly play a role in that, but so also does the coaching prowess (or lack thereof) of Lue.
