It’s being reported that the three finalists to appear on the HBO mini series “Hard Knocks” consist of the Houston Texans, Washington Redskins and Buffalo Bills. After hearing that Washington is not interested, it now appears the Bills don’t want to be featured either.

This would leave the Texans in the running to be the featured team in this year’s series. Regarding the Redskins, it is reported that NFL sources do not want an unwilling participant. As for Buffalo, since the Bills have a first-year coach, they cannot be forced to do the show. For the general public, this is kind of a bummer considering all of the offseason drama that surrounded the Bills.
Texans head coach Bill O’Brien doesn’t exactly make for the splashy reality character that Ryan would. This means the show would likely focus on the quarterback competition between Brian Hoyer and Ryan Mallett along with some excitement from J.J. Watt and the return of Jadeveon Clowney last year’s microfracture knee surgery.
