If history is any indicator, the Washington Redskins’ victory over the Philadelphia Eagles last weekend means Hillary Clinton will beat Donald Trump in the upcoming election.
You see, every previous time Washington has won its final home game before a presidential election, the incumbent party has come away victorious, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Washington does have a “home game” against the Cincinnati Bengals on October 30, but it’s being contested across the pond at Wembley Stadium in London. So it doesn’t count.
While both Clinton and Trump have staunch supporters, there seems to be a growing level of support for the Democratic candidate. In addition to the historical significance of Washington’s big win at home against Philly last weekend, Clinton is ahead in the polls heading down the home stretch.
