Texas Rangers star shortstop Corey Seager exited Tuesday’s game against the Kansas City Royals in the fifth inning with left hamstring tightness.

Seager pulled up on his way to second on a double to left field in the fifth inning. Seager walked off on his own power but was holding his hamstring. The team said he will continue to be evaluated.

Josh Smith replaced Seager in the lineup.

Seager was 2-for-2 with a run on the night. He’s batting .359 on the young season.
