It was announced today that Major League Baseball approved a protective cap for pitchers to protect them from head injuries that may happen during a line-drive. Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Brandon McCarthy tried on the cap and said “it’s just too big and too hot.” Sorry McCarthy, you set yourself up for that one.
