Paul George fined $15k for kicking ball into stands

The NBA has officially responded to Paul George’s now infamous kicked ball into the stands following a foul call he disagreed with. The Indiana Pacers forward will have to pay out $15,000 for the mistake, which we have to assume he’ll never make again.

There is just no wiggle room allowed for this kind of action. Yes, George didn’t kick the ball hard, and he certainly wasn’t trying to kick it into the stands. He was trying to kick it off the base of the hoop as we’ve seen players do countless times before.

Unfortunately, it dig go into the stands and smacked an unlucky fan right in the kisser (watch here). He apologized to the poor woman right after and then sent her flowers.

Despite his obvious remorse, George was ejected for that faux pas and will now have to pay for his mistake.
