New England Patriots receivers Kendrick Bourne (knee) and DeVante Parker (head) departed Sunday’s game against the host Miami Dolphins and were ruled out.

Bourne went down early in the fourth quarter while grabbing his right knee after an Eli Apple tackle along the sideline. Bourne was able to walk to the sideline but was soon ruled out.

Bourne had three catches for 36 yards and a touchdown. He entered the game as the Patriots’ leading receiver with 34 catches for 370 yards and three touchdowns.

Parker was the recipient of a helmet-to-helmet hit by Dolphins safety DeShon Elliott when attempting to catch a pass from Mac Jones. He left the game with 6:21 left in the third quarter and was quickly ruled out of the game.

Elliott was not called for a penalty.

Parker had one reception for 14 yards. On the season, the ninth-year pro has 15 receptions for 158 yards. He spent his first seven seasons with the Dolphins before playing the past two for the Patriots.

Earlier in the game, New England linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley was ruled out with a hamstring injury.
