Not sure what the political correct thing to do here is. But the New England Patriots social media team committed a fail of epic proportions on Thursday night when attempting to thank fans for enabling the team to get up to one million followers.

We know it’s a major mistake and wasn’t intentional, but someone is losing his/her internship over this one.
It’s one thing to make a mistake. It’s a completely different thing to have that mistake viewed by millions of people. A mistake that is likely one of the biggest in the history of team-run social media accounts.
