Patriots running back Damien Harris downgraded to out vs. Colts

Damien Harris retirement

New England Patriots running back Damien Harris has been ruled out of Saturday’s game against the host Indianapolis Colts.

Harris was listed as a limited participant in practice all week due to a hamstring injury and had been listed as questionable for this weekend’s game.

Rookie Rhamondre Stevenson and Brandon Bolden are expected to receive a bigger workload in the absence of Harris, who leads the team in carries (164), rushing yards (754) and rushing touchdowns (nine).

Harris, 24, has rushed for 1,457 yards with 11 touchdowns in 24 career games since being selected by New England in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Alabama.
