Patriots player on Tom Brady post-game reaction: ‘Felt like we lost’

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was not a happy camper on Sunday even after the team beat the Philadelphia Eagles to improve to 9-1 on the season. After the game, he gave a dour press conference in which he expressed frustration that the offense is not performing well.

ESPN’s Mike Reiss appeared on “Get Up” Friday morning and gave an update about how Brady’s reaction has permeated New England’s locker room. He shared that one player told him, “Even though we won the game, it felt like we lost.”

Reiss also mentioned that Brady seems to have shifted his attitude a bit, sharing a softer tone as it appears he has accepted his present reality. Reiss said that maybe Brady has taken a more encouraging tone to help get the most out of his young teammates.

To be fair, Brady has a really good point about his performance, and that of the entire offense. It’s been rough sledding this season, with New England ranking 16th in total offense and Brady ranking 20th in quarterback rating.

If the Pats are going to win another Super Bowl, then Brady and Co. need to figure out a way to improve on this side of the ball. As good as New England’s defense is, the Baltimore Ravens proved that it’s going to take offense to win later this year when the playoffs take center stage.
