The New England Patriots will have star wide receiver Julian Edelman back on the field for Thursday night’s game against the Indianapolis Colts. Edelman had been suspended four the first four games of the season for violating the NFL’s performance enhancing drug (PED) policy.
The team announced mere hours before kickoff that Edelman has been activated to the 53-man roster.

This is some rather big news for a Patriots team that has struggled at wide receiver to start the season. Edelman, who missed all of last season to injury, has not played a regular season game since the 2016 campaign.
Having him back to team up with the recently acquired Josh Gordon as well as Rob Gronkowski could be huge moving forward.
