The Green Bay Packers put All-Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list on Saturday.

It’s another setback for Bakhtiari, who was expected to be ready for Packers training camp next week.

Bakhtiari, 30, who missed all but 27 snaps last season following the injury he suffered on Dec. 31, 2020, has been beset by complications since surgery to repair his ACL.

The five-time Pro Bowl selection played in the 2021 season finale but was then shut down for the postseason. He required a procedure to reduce swelling and drain fluid from around the knee.

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said in June the team was targeting training camp for Bakhtiari’s return.

Bakhtiari joined teammates Christian Watson, Mason Crosby, Robert Tonyan, Elgton Jenkins, Kylin Hill, Patrick Taylor, Dean Lowry, Randy Ramsey and Hauati Pututau on the PUP list.
