The Green Bay Packers expect wide receiver Randall Cobb to return from injured reserve and play in Saturday’s divisional playoff game against San Francisco.

Cobb has been out since Week 12 after suffering a core muscle injury that required surgery. He was designated to return to practice late last month.

“Cobby is coming along great, and he looks good at practice, so I would anticipate him playing in this game,” Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Wednesday.

Cobb caught 28 passes for 375 yards and five touchdowns in 12 games (three starts). He missed the final five games of the regular season.

LaFleur also said left tackle David Bakhtiari would practice Wednesday after missing practice Tuesday. The two-time All-Pro returned in Week 18 against Detroit and played 27 snaps in his first action since tearing an ACL late last year.

“We’ll just take it one day at a time, see how he responds to the load he gets in practice,” LaFleur said.
