Seattle Seahawks All-Pro safety Earl Thomas was having himself a heck of a start to the season.
He recorded three interceptions over the first three weeks after holding out for a new contract into the regular season. It led to some animosity between Thomas and Seattle’s front office.
Sadly, Thomas suffered a broken leg in Sunday’s win over the Arizona Cardinals and will miss the remainder of the season. If Thomas’ gesture to the Seahawks’ sideline while he was being carted off is any indication, it’s the last time he’ll be seen in the team’s uniform.
Following the injury, multiple NFL players took to social media to send their best wishes Thomas’ way. Here’s the best of the lot.
Praying for my brother @Earl_Thomas. Most will never know the hard work and sacrifice daily that goes into playing this game. He will bounce back better than ever that’s who he i.
