After cleaning out their locker room of wide receivers earlier this year, inquiring minds have been wanting to know who Carolina Panthers’ quarterback Cam Newton is going to throw to come September. Newton is a self-proclaimed “Superman,” but he surely can’t throw to himself. Therefore, the Panthers using their first-round draft pick to select wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin out of Florida State was a no-brainer.

The 6”5″ Benjamin and 6’6″ Newton will make quite the super-sized duo quarterback/wide receiving combination. The Miley Cyrus “Wrecking Ball” song comes to mind, and it should be quite interesting for Newton and Benjamin to play “keep-away” with any shorter defense they will face in 2014.
FINALLY! CAROLINA HAS A TALL (6'5") REDIRECT FOR CAM TO THROW TO! GOOD PICK! WELCOME TO THE FAMILY KELVIN BENJAMIN! #PANTHERSNATION
