NFL, NFL Draft
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The NFL has taken unprecedented measures to guarantee the safety of players and teams. It is being reported that the league has cancelled all meetings between 2020 NFL Draft prospects and teams amid the growing coronavirus pandemic.

We have no idea what is going to happen as it relates to the start of NFL free agency next week and the draft in Vegas come April. At this point, it seems like both will be either postponed or altered in a dramatic way.

The coronavirus epidemic continues to spread across the United States with more and more communities being impacted. As such, there’s no reason to put prospects and team personnel at risk.

Sports is indeed taking a back seat.
