New York guard Derrick Rose is expected back for the team’s next game after an inconclusive COVID-19 test result forced him out of the Knicks’ contest Tuesday night, multiple outlets reported Wednesday.

Rose subsequently tested negative and was allowed to fly back with the team after the Knicks’ loss at San Antonio, per the reports. He’ll be cleared to play Thursday against Detroit, provided he tests negative Wednesday and pregame.
